Terms of Use
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Kasual app and this site, operated by Bends Tecnologia e Consultoria Ltda., CNPJ 57.365.541/0001-30, headquartered at Alameda Rio Negro, 503, sala 2020, Alphaville, Barueri/SP, CEP 06454-000, Brazil ("Kasual", "we"). By creating an account or using Kasual, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What Kasual is
Kasual is a dating app for adults: a digital masquerade ball where people use pseudonyms, photos are blurred by default and every profile goes through verification before it appears.
2. Who can join
- Adults 18+ only. Age is confirmed before anything else, through the system check (Apple or Google) or your declaration. Accounts belonging to minors are removed.
- One account per person. A couple profile is a single account for both of you, with a main photo showing you both.
- Verification is mandatory. Without the face check, your profile isn't shown to anyone and can't match.
- Creating accounts on someone else's behalf, duplicate accounts or automated accounts is prohibited.
3. Your account
On Kasual you go by a pseudonym. You're responsible for keeping access to your account secure (your sign-in and your device unlock) and for everything that happens through it.
4. House rules
Kasual has four rules, and they apply to everyone:
- No socials. No Insta @, no Telegram, no WhatsApp. The conversation starts and ends here;
- What happens at the ball stays at the ball. Nothing you see here leaves here;
- Ask first. Only send a photo if they want it. No means no, the first time;
- Reputation matters. Treat people well and your profile stands out. Disrespect gets you out of the ball.
In practice, it's prohibited to:
- Capture, record or share outside the app any content from other people (photos, conversations or identity). Sharing someone's intimate content without consent is a crime in Brazil (Law 13.718/2018) and will be reported to the authorities;
- Share social media, phone numbers or other contacts to take the conversation off the app, or use the app for spam;
- Send photos to someone who didn't ask, or insist after a no;
- Harass, threaten, use hate speech, discriminate or abuse anyone in any way;
- Use photos that aren't yours or impersonate someone else;
- Offer, advertise or request paid sexual services, run scams or use the app for any commercial activity;
- Any content or conduct involving minors (see the Child safety section);
- Get around the app's protections (screenshot blocking, photo view limits, verification) by any means;
- Break any applicable law.
5. Child safety: Kasual's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
Kasual is for adults only (18+) and has zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These are our public standards:
Minors don't get in
- Age is confirmed before any interaction, as required by Brazilian Law 15.211/2025 (protection of children and teenagers online);
- Every profile goes through a face check confirming the person is real and is the one in the main photo;
- Accounts suspected of belonging to minors are suspended immediately and deleted after review.
Absolute prohibitions
These lead to an immediate, permanent ban:
- Any sexual content, conduct or request involving anyone under 18, real or simulated;
- Grooming, harassing or attempting to contact minors;
- Sharing, requesting or threatening to share child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
How to report
- In the app: every profile and every conversation has a Report option, with the Underage reason. These reports get top priority in moderation;
- By email: suporte@kasual.app.br. These messages get priority.
What we do
- We remove the content and suspend the account immediately;
- We preserve evidence for the legal period, with restricted access;
- We report to the competent Brazilian authorities and official channels such as SaferNet Brasil (safernet.org.br), and cooperate with investigations;
- We permanently ban everyone involved.
We comply with Brazil's Child and Adolescent Statute (Law 8.069/1990, arts. 240 and 241), Law 15.211/2025 and the child safety requirements of the App Store and Google Play.
6. Content
- What you post remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process and display it only to run the service (for example, showing your photos blurred and opening them under the app's rules).
- Profile photos and captions can't contain nudity or explicit sexual content.
- You confirm you hold the rights to what you post and that it doesn't breach these Terms.
7. Moderation, reports and reputation
- You can report or block anyone from their profile or the conversation. Every report is reviewed, which may include reading your conversation with them (see the Privacy Policy);
- We may remove content, send warnings, restrict features, or disable or ban accounts that breach these Terms, including without prior notice when needed to protect others. If you think your account was disabled by mistake, contact us to ask for a review;
- Bans for serious violations are permanent. Coming back with another account breaches these Terms;
- Profile badges (New, Pioneer, Guardian and Trusted) reflect time on Kasual, reports confirmed by moderation and ratings from people who met the person. Badges aren't for sale;
- We cooperate with competent authorities within the limits of the law and our Privacy Policy.
8. Plans and payments
- Using Kasual is free. The Kasual+ and VIP plans are optional and give the benefits described in the app before purchase, with the price in Brazilian reais.
- App Store and Google Play subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically. Your store account is charged when you confirm the purchase and at each renewal, unless you cancel beforehand (on the App Store, at least 24 hours before the end of the period). You manage and cancel them in your store account settings (in the app: Settings, Membership, Manage in the store). Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules.
- PIX payment buys a pass that lasts until the date shown in the app and doesn't renew on its own.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in the store before deleting.
- Rewards, such as extra likes for watching an ad or a month of VIP for inviting someone, have no cash value and may change or end.
- For App Store purchases, Apple's standard End User License Agreement also applies.
- Nothing here limits your rights under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.
9. Meeting in real life
Kasual's verification confirms the person is real and matches their photo, but it is not a background check and doesn't replace your own judgment. Meeting in person is your decision and your responsibility. Meet in public places, tell someone you trust and follow your instincts.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Kasual running, but the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Material changes to these Terms will be announced in the app; continuing to use it after the notice counts as acceptance.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kasual is not liable for indirect damages arising from interactions between users inside or outside the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code.
12. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app. The steps, and what happens to your data, are in Account deletion.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be settled in the courts of your place of residence, as provided by consumer law.
